Henri Julien Félix Rousseau was born on May 21, 1844, in Laval, France. He became one of the most renowned representatives of naive art and primitivism. Rousseau worked as a painter, printmaker, and art figure. His creative work encompassed genres such as landscape, still life, and figurative painting. His style is associated with post-impressionism, primitivism, and naive art. During his lifetime, he created notable works including "The Snake Charmer," "The Dream," "The Jungle Attack," "Portrait-Landscape," and "The Sleeping Gypsy." Rousseau died on September 2, 1910, in Paris, France.
