Zośka Vieras, born Ludvika Antonovna Savitskaya-Voitsek on September 18, 1892 in Medzhybizh, was a Belarusian Soviet poet, writer, artist, translator, memoirist, publicist, and public figure.
Biography
Zośka Vieras, whose real name was Ludvika Antonovna Savitskaya-Voitsek, was born on September 18, 1892, in Medzhybizh. Throughout her life, she was connected with several states and cultures, including the Russian Empire, the Polish Republic, the USSR, Lithuania, and Belarus. She was known as a Belarusian Soviet poet, writer, artist, translator, memoirist, publicist, and public figure. In the course of her creative and social activities, she used various pseudonyms such as A. Voytsikava, Mama, Mirko, L. Savitskaya, and Shara Ptashka. Zośka Vieras contributed to Belarusian literature and culture, creating works in diverse genres and directions. She died on October 8, 1991, in Vilnius.
