Yosl Bergner
Yosl Bergner (1920–2017) was an Israeli painter, illustrator, and theater artist. He worked in painting and lithography and was awarded the Israel Prize in 1980 for his contributions to Israeli culture and art.
Biography
Yosl Bergner was born on October 13, 1920, in Vienna. He became an Israeli artist recognized as a painter, illustrator, theater artist, and lithographer. Throughout his creative career, Bergner gained considerable recognition in Israel and abroad due to the versatility of his artistic talent.
