Yeranuhi Aslamazyan
Yeranuhi Arshakovna Aslamazyan (1909–1998) was an Armenian and Soviet artist and graphic designer known for her portraits and landscapes. She was a member of the USSR Artists' Union and an honored artist of the Armenian SSR. She died in Moscow.
Biography
Yeranuhi (Eran) Arshakovna Aslamazyan was born on April 15, 1909, in the settlement of Bash-Shirak, then part of the Russian Empire. She became a well-known Armenian and Soviet artist and graphic designer, specializing in portraits and landscapes. Aslamazyan was a member of the USSR Artists' Union and was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR. Throughout her life, she worked amidst cultural changes spanning from the Russian Empire through the Soviet Union and into modern Russia. Her artistic work reflects these eras, represented in her portraits and landscapes. Yeranuhi Aslamazyan passed away on February 4, 1998, in Moscow, leaving a notable mark in the history of Soviet and Armenian visual arts.
