Biography
Yaacov Agam was born on May 11, 1928, in Rishon LeZion. He was an Israeli and French artist recognized as one of the founders of kinetic art. Throughout his life, Agam worked in abstraction as well as in experimental art, sculpture, graphic arts, serigraphy, and jewelry design. His cultural identity is associated with both Israel and France. Among his notable works is the piece entitled "Fontaine." Yaacov Agam passed away on June 21, 2026, in Tel Aviv.
