Xanthos Hadjisoteriou

Xanthos Hadjisoteriou (1920–2003) was a Cypriot artist and interior designer. Born in Famagusta, he studied business at the University of Beirut and later pursued art and interior design education in London. His life and work were closely tied to Cyprus.

Biography

Xanthos Hadjisoteriou (1920–2003) was a notable Cypriot artist and interior designer. He was born in the city of Famagusta, Cyprus in 1920. Between 1938 and 1940, he studied business at the University of Beirut. Later, he continued his education in London, where from 1951 to 1953 he attended the Central School of Arts and Crafts, focusing on artistic disciplines. In 1959, he completed training in interior design at the Byam Shaw School of Art. He passed away in 2003 in Limassol. Throughout his life, both his personal and professional activities were closely connected with Cyprus.
