Wu Ming-yi
Wu Ming-yi is a Taiwanese writer, university professor, and environmental activist. Born on June 20, 1971, in Taoyuan, Taiwan. He is the author of the 2011 novel The Man with Compound Eyes and has been a professor of Chinese literature at Donghua University since 2012.
Biography
Wu Ming-yi was born on June 20, 1971, in Taoyuan, Republic of China (Taiwan). He is a writer, environmental activist, university lecturer, literary scholar, and arts figure. Wu writes in Chinese and is best known for his novel The Man with Compound Eyes, published in 2011. Since 2012, he has held the position of professor at the Faculty of Chinese Literature at Donghua University in Taiwan. In addition to his literary career, Wu is actively involved in environmental protection and participates in ecological initiatives.
