Wilhelm II, the last German Emperor (Kaiser) and King of Prussia, ruled from 1888 to 1918. He was born on January 27, 1859, in the Crown Prince's Palace. As a member of the Hohenzollern dynasty, he was the eldest son of Friedrich III and British Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Throughout his life, Wilhelm II assumed multiple important roles: he was a monarch, artist, art collector, author, and ruler. His cultural and national identity was connected to the Kingdom of Prussia, the German Empire, and Germany. Wilhelm II died on June 4, 1941, at the Dorn estate, leaving a significant mark on German history.
