Whanki Kim

Biography
Whanki Kim was born on February 27, 1913, in Jeolla-namdo, Republic of Korea. He became a prominent artist and one of the early proponents of abstract art in Korea. His creative work was dedicated to the development of abstraction. Among his artistic legacy, the painting "Rondo" stands out as a significant contribution to art. Kim continued his artistic activities in New York, where he died on July 25, 1974.
