Vũ Giáng Hương
Vũ Giáng Hương (1930–2011) was a Vietnamese artist known for her elegant silk paintings. She graduated from the Vietnam College of Fine Arts in 1960 and served as General Secretary of the Vietnam Arts Association from 1989 to 1994.
Biography
Vũ Giáng Hương was born on January 23, 1930, in Hanoi. She was a Vietnamese artist and university lecturer. Vũ Giáng Hương graduated from the Vietnam College of Fine Arts in 1960. Her work became known for its delicate silk paintings. From 1989 to 1994, she served as the General Secretary of the Vietnam Arts Association. Later, from 2004 to 2010, she was the President of the Union of Arts and Literature Associations of Vietnam. Vũ Giáng Hương passed away on August 20, 2011. She was of Vietnamese nationality.
