Biography
Vilho Henrik Lampi was born on July 19, 1898, in Oulu, Finland. He worked primarily in the portrait genre, gaining recognition for his self-portraits as well as his paintings of the town of Liminka and its residents. His artistic activity is closely associated with Finnish art culture. Lampi passed away on March 17, 1936, in a place called Rautasilta. Through his works and creative legacy, Vilho Lampi left a significant mark on the history of Finnish art.
