Vilhjálmur Einarsson
Vilhjálmur Einarsson (1934–2019) was an Icelandic athlete, teacher, and artist. Born in Reyðarfjörður, he was the first and only Icelandic man to win an Olympic medal in athletics.

Vilhjálmur Einarsson was born on June 5, 1934, in Reyðarfjörður, Iceland. Throughout his life, he combined multiple professions, being a teacher, artist, and athlete.
