Vasily Vasilyevich Pereplyotchikov was born on October 18, 1863, in Moscow, Russian Empire. He was an artist, landscape painter, and draftsman who primarily worked in the landscape genre. His artistic development was influenced by the traditions of the late Peredvizhniki movement, with particular attention to national, typical motifs of Russian nature, which he reflected in his works. Pereplyotchikov lived and worked in Moscow, where he also passed away on July 10, 1918.
