Vajiravudh, also known as Rama VI, was the sixth king of Siam from the Chakri dynasty, reigning from 1910 to 1925. Born on January 1, 1881, he was also a poet, writer, politician, and artist.
Biography
Vajiravudh, also known as Rama VI, was the sixth king of Siam from the Chakri dynasty, reigning from 1910 to 1925. He was born on January 1, 1881, in the Grand Palace and died on November 25, 1925, in the Throne Hall of Chakraphat Phiman. Vajiravudh was a man of many roles and talents: he served as an officer, monarch, poet, actor, politician, writer, artist, and scout. Among his notable works are "Siamnussat," "Vivah Phra Samutr," "Phra Nol Kam Luang," and "Madanabadha." His cultural and national identity is associated with Siam and Thailand.
