Biography

Vaclovas Krutinis was born on September 27, 1948, in Vilnius, Lithuania. He was a prominent Lithuanian sculptor whose creative work significantly influenced the art scene in Lithuania. From 1998 to 2008, Krutinis served as the chairman of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union, playing a key role in the development and support of the country’s artistic community. Vaclovas Krutinis died on October 30, 2013, in Vilnius. His contribution to Lithuanian art is recognized as notable, and his leadership within the Artists’ Union reflects his active involvement in Lithuania’s cultural life.
