Uthman Taha
Uthman Taha is a Saudi calligrapher of Syrian origin, born in 1934 in Aleppo. He is known as the calligrapher of the Madinan Quran, published by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran. He has contributed significantly to Islamic calligraphy.
Biography
Uthman ibn Abdu ibn Hussein ibn Taha al-Halabi, known as Uthman Taha, was born in 1934 in Aleppo, Syria. He is a Saudi calligrapher of Syrian descent who has made a significant contribution to the art of Islamic calligraphy. Taha also works as an ornamentalist and artist. One of his major achievements is the calligraphy of the Madinan Quran, which is published by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran. Throughout his life, Taha maintained cultural ties with the First Syrian Republic, the Syrian Republic, Ba'athist Syria, and Saudi Arabia. His mastery and artistic contribution have strengthened the traditions of calligraphy and Islamic artistic heritage.
