Todor Dinov
Todor Dinov Georgiev (1919–2004) was a Bulgarian film director, screenwriter, artist, and educator. He held titles such as People's Artist of the People's Republic of Bulgaria, Corresponding Member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences since 1977, and honorary member of the Academy of Arts of the German Democratic Republic.
Biography
Todor Dinov Georgiev was born on July 24, 1919, in Greece. He was a Bulgarian film director, screenwriter, artist, and educator. Throughout his professional career, he combined roles as an animator, graphic artist, director, and film director. In 1977, Dinov was elected a Corresponding Member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He was also awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of the People's Republic of Bulgaria. In addition, Dinov was an honorary member of the Academy of Arts of the German Democratic Republic. He passed away on June 17, 2004, in Sofia. His creative work made a notable contribution to the development of Bulgarian cinema and art.
