Sol LeWitt
Sol LeWitt (1928–2007) was an American artist and a key figure in minimalism and conceptual art. Born in Hartford and died in New York, he worked as a painter, sculptor, architect, photographer, and illustrator, engaging with abstraction and conceptualism.

Sol LeWitt (born September 9, 1928, in Hartford, USA; died April 8, 2007, in New York) was an American visual artist, sculptor, photographer, architect, and illustrator. He is regarded as one of the key representatives of minimalism and conceptual art. His work reflects major directions within abstraction. LeWitt was also known as a conceptual artist, printmaker, collage artist, and monumental artist. His oeuvre includes significant works such as "Four-Sided Pyramid," "Tall Irregular Progression. A les Víctimes del terrorisme," and "Whirls and Twirls (MTA)." He made a substantial contribution to the theoretical exploration of conceptualism. LeWitt's cultural identity and nationality are connected to the United States.
