Skunder Boghossian

Alexander Boghossian was born on July 22, 1937, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He was an artist and draftsman who became a pioneer of African modernism. Boghossian held a significant place in the history of Ethiopian art as one of the most influential modernists in the country.
