Shing Yin Khor is an artist known for their work as a comic artist, animator, cartoonist, and comic writer, culturally associated with both Malaysia and the United States. Their created works include the comics The American Dream? A Journey on Route 66 (2019), The Center for Otherworld Science (2014), and Say it with Noodles (2018), for which they received the Ignatz Award. Another significant achievement was the publication of the graphic novel for younger audiences, The Legend of Auntie Po (2021), which earned the prestigious Eisner Award and became a finalist for the 2021 National Book Award in the Young People's Literature category.
