Shin Hae-chul
Shin Hae-chul (1968–2014) was a South Korean singer, composer, songwriter, and music producer. He was the leader and vocalist of the rock band N.EX.T and a pioneer of Korean experimental rock music.
Biography
Shin Hae-chul was born on May 6, 1968, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. He was a South Korean singer, composer, songwriter, music producer, and artist. On stage, Shin Hae-chul performed as the frontman and vocalist of the rock band N.EX.T, specializing in the rock music genre. His work had a significant influence on the development of Korean experimental rock music, where he was one of the pioneers. Shin Hae-chul also engaged in studio music and television, appearing as a TV actor. He was known among fans by the nicknames “Demon Lord” and “Devil” due to his charismatic stage presence. He passed away on October 27, 2014. His entire professional activity was connected with the culture and art of the Republic of Korea and Korea.
