Sérgio Ferro

Biography

Sérgio Ferro is a Brazilian artist, architect, historian, and professor born on July 25, 1938, in Curitiba. He earned his education in architecture and urbanism from FAUUSP and holds a degree in semiotics from Mackenzie University. Additionally, he completed postgraduate training in museology and urban development at FAUUSP. During the military dictatorship in Brazil, Ferro was imprisoned and, following his release, was compelled to leave the country. Since the early 1970s, he has been residing in France.
