Biography
Pinchus Kremegne was born on July 28, 1890, in the town of Zheludok, then part of the Russian Empire. Throughout his creative career, he engaged in painting, sculpture, and graphic arts, including lithography. Kremegne became known as a French artist belonging to the Paris School movement and Expressionism. His artistic legacy is connected to the active period of development of modern art in the early 20th century. Pinchus Kremegne passed away on April 5, 1981, in Cère, France. His life and work reflect the cultural ties between the Russian Empire and France, as well as the development of one of the most significant art movements of that era.
