Peter Fishman

Biography

Peter Aronovich Fishman was born on November 30, 1955, in Kiev. He is a Soviet and Russian sculptor and artist working in the realist tradition. Fishman is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and holds the position of associate professor at the Design Department of Smolensk Humanitarian University. His creative activity spans the post-1945 period, culturally and nationally connected with the USSR and Russia. In his work, he combines traditions of Soviet and Russian art, realizing his ideas through sculpture and artistic creation.
