Paul Delvaux (1897–1994) was a Belgian surrealist artist known for his work as a painter, graphic artist, illustrator, draftsman, watercolorist, engraver, monumental artist, and sculptor. He was born in Hoei and died in Wépion, Belgium.

Paul Delvaux, a Belgian visual artist, was born on September 23, 1897, in the town of Hoei. He became a notable representative of Surrealism. Throughout his creative career, Delvaux engaged in various forms of visual art, including painting, graphic art, illustration, drawing, engraving, watercolor, monumental art, and sculpture. Paul Delvaux made a significant contribution to 20th-century Belgian art. He lived and worked in Belgium, where he passed away on July 20, 1994, in the town of Wépion.
