Park Seo-bo

Biography

Park Seo-bo was born on November 15, 1931, in the Republic of Korea. He gained widespread recognition as an artist through his series of works titled "Écriture." Park was actively involved in the Korean art informel movement, which significantly influenced the development of contemporary art in South Korea. His artistic practice emphasized formal aspects of painting, an approach that led critics and art historians to recognize him as one of the leading representatives of the Dansaekhwa movement.
