Olu Ajayi was born on August 18, 1963. He is a professional Nigerian artist, animator, cartoonist, and art scholar with over 40 years of experience in studio practice and art administration. Throughout his career, he served as the chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Society of Nigerian Artists and was a trustee of the Guild of Professional Artists of Nigeria (GFA). Additionally, he was a board member of the Visual Art Society of Nigeria (VASON) and an honorary member of the Society of Nigerian Artists. Olu Ajayi's biography is included in the Who is Who in Art directory. He has also been recognized among the top one hundred artists according to available data.
