Oleksa Novakivskyi

Biography

Oleksa Kharlampiyovych Novakivskyi was born on March 14, 1872, in the village of Nova Obodivka. He became a recognized Ukrainian painter and educator, working within the artistic movement of Impressionism. Over his life, Novakivskyi engaged in the creation of artworks and dedicated himself to teaching, passing on his knowledge and experience to new generations of artists. He died on August 29, 1935, in Lviv. Novakivskyi's contribution to the development of Ukrainian painting is significant, and his work continues to attract the attention of researchers and art connoisseurs.
