Nurnaningsih (born December 5, 1925, Surabaya, Indonesia – died March 21, 2004, Tebet) was an Indonesian actress known as the country's first sex symbol. She appeared in the film Tiger from Tjampa and was active in multiple artistic fields.

Nurnaningsih was born on December 5, 1925, in Surabaya, Indonesia. Over her lifetime, she became a prominent figure in classic Indonesian cinema and is recognized as the country's first sex symbol. Among her filmography is the movie Tiger from Tjampa, which made a significant contribution to the development of national cinema. Beyond acting, Nurnaningsih was also involved in teaching and pursued work as an artist, seamstress, pianist, and singer. She passed away on March 21, 2004, in Tebet.
