Norman Rockwell (1894–1978) was an American painter, illustrator, and photographer, known for his work in realism and figurative genres. He gained fame for illustrating The Saturday Evening Post covers for over 40 years.

Norman Rockwell was born on February 3, 1894, in New York, USA. He was an American painter, illustrator, and photographer who worked extensively in the genres of figurative art and genre painting. Artistically, he is associated with American realism. Rockwell became widely known for his illustrations, many of which were published on the covers of The Saturday Evening Post magazine for over four decades. Among his notable works are 'Freedom of Speech', 'Freedom of Worship', 'Freedom from Fear', 'Freedom from Want', the series 'Four Freedoms', and 'Rosie the Riveter'. Norman Rockwell passed away on November 8, 1978, in Stockbridge, USA.
