Nikolai Triik
Nikolai Voldemar Triik (1884–1940) was an Estonian painter, graphic artist, educator, and art figure. Born and died in Tallinn, he worked mainly in portraiture and was associated with Expressionism. He also engaged in caricature and printmaking.

Nikolai Voldemar Triik was born on August 7, 1884, in Tallinn. He was an Estonian painter, graphic artist, educator, and prominent figure in the arts. Triik worked primarily in the genre of portraiture and was connected with the Expressionist movement. In addition to painting, he produced caricatures and worked as a printmaker. Throughout his life, he held a position as a beamtar (civil servant). Triik spent his entire life in Tallinn, where he passed away on August 12, 1940. His multifaceted engagement in the arts reflects a diverse contribution to the cultural sphere of Estonia.
