Napoleon Abueva (1930–2018) was a Filipino sculptor and theatrical actor, regarded as the father of modern Philippine sculpture. In 1976, at age 46, he became the youngest recipient of the National Artist of the Philippines award in sculpture.

Napoleon Abueva was born on January 26, 1930, in Tagbilaran, Philippines. He was a sculptor and theatrical actor who worked within the modernist genre. Abueva became known as the "Father of Modern Philippine Sculpture." In 1976, at the age of 46, he was awarded the title of National Artist of the Philippines for sculpture, making him the youngest recipient of this honor.
