Müfide Kadri
Müfide Kadri (1890–1912) was a Turkish artist and art teacher from the Ottoman Empire. Born and died in Istanbul, she was one of the first female artists in Turkey and the first professional female drawing instructor in the Ottoman Empire.

Müfide Kadri was born in 1890 in Istanbul, then part of the Ottoman Empire. She became one of the first female artists in Turkey and the first woman to achieve the status of a professional drawing teacher in the Ottoman Empire. In her artistic work, Müfide Kadri primarily painted portraits and scenes featuring people. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she was also a composer. Müfide Kadri lived a brief yet significant life, passing away in 1912 in Istanbul, leaving an important legacy in the history of early 20th-century Ottoman and Turkish art.
