Mohammed Al-Tuwaiyan
Mohammed Al-Tuwaiyan (1945–2025) was a Saudi actor, screenwriter, and visual arts figure. Born and died in Buraidah, he contributed significantly to Saudi theater and visual arts. In 2024, he received the National Cultural Initiative Award in Theater and Performing Arts.
Biography
Mohammed Al-Tuwaiyan was born on May 9, 1945, in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. He was an actor, screenwriter, and figure in the visual arts, as well as a theater actor. Throughout his career, Al-Tuwaiyan made a significant contribution to the development of theater and visual arts in Saudi Arabia. In 2024, he was awarded in the category "Theater and Performing Arts" as part of the fourth National Cultural Initiative Award. Mohammed Al-Tuwaiyan passed away on January 31, 2025, in Buraidah, where he had lived most of his life.
