Mihail Chemiakin
Mihail Mikhailovich Chemiakin is a Soviet and American artist and sculptor born on May 4, 1943, in Moscow. He is a laureate of the 1993 State Prize of the Russian Federation and holds the title of People's Artist of Kabardino-Balkaria and Adygea.

Mihail Mikhailovich Chemiakin was born on May 4, 1943, in Moscow. He is known as a Soviet and American artist, sculptor, and writer. Chemiakin is associated with the Symbolism movement. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including the State Prize of the Russian Federation in 1993 and the titles of People's Artist of Kabardino-Balkaria and Adygea. Additionally, he has been awarded honorary doctorates by several higher education institutions. Chemiakin maintained cultural ties and engaged in creative activities across the USSR, the United States, Russia, and France. Among his notable works is the sculptural composition "Children — Victims of Adult Vices." His diverse oeuvre encompasses painting, sculpture, and literature.
