Michel Majerus was born on June 9, 1967, in Esch-sur-Alzette. He belonged to the cultural traditions of Luxembourg and Germany. Majerus was an artist, sculptor, and art figure. In his creative practice, he combined painting with digital media, creating unique works. He spent most of his life and career in Berlin, where he lived and worked. Michel Majerus died on November 6, 2002, in Niederanven. His artistic legacy reflects an interdisciplinary approach in late 20th-century art.
