Marina Karella was born on July 17, 1940, in Athens, Greece. She is a recognized Greek artist, sculptor, watercolorist, illustrator, and designer. Marina is the daughter of Theodoros Karellas, an industrialist and nobleman from Athens, and Elli Chalikopoulos. Throughout her creative career, she has been active as a visual artist and has also worked as a sculptor, stage designer, and costume designer. Marina Karella is married to Prince Michael of Greece and Denmark. Her artistic work and contributions are connected to Greek culture and heritage.
