Ľudovít Fulla
Ľudovít Fulla (1902–1980) was a Slovak painter, illustrator, graphic artist, stage designer, and educator. A professor and People's Artist of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic since 1963, he contributed to various visual arts disciplines including ex-libris and teaching.
Biography
Ľudovít Fulla was born on April 27, 1902, in Ružomberok. He was a Slovak painter, illustrator, graphic artist, stage designer, and educator. Throughout his creative career, he also engaged in ex-libris art and teaching. In 1963, Ľudovít Fulla was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. He served as a professor and made a significant contribution to the development of art in Czechoslovakia. Ľudovít Fulla passed away on April 21, 1980, in Bratislava. His professional activity encompassed various forms of visual arts and pedagogy within the context of Czech cultural environment.
