Lloyd Rees
Lloyd Frederick Rees was an Australian landscape artist and arts figure, twice awarded the Wynne Prize. Born in Brisbane in 1895, he made significant contributions to 20th-century Australian art before his death in Hobart in 1988.

Lloyd Frederick Rees (March 17, 1895, Brisbane – December 2, 1988, Hobart) was an Australian artist, printmaker, and arts figure known for his landscape paintings. Throughout his life, he was recognized in the field of landscape art, having twice received the Wynne Prize for his works. His national and cultural identity was connected to both Australia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Rees dedicated his career to the development of the Australian landscape genre and left a significant mark on 20th-century art.
