Julius Evola

Biography

Julius Evola was born on May 19, 1898, in Rome, Italy, and died there on June 11, 1974. He was an Italian esoteric philosopher, writer, poet, artist, cultural historian, and political figure. Evola was known as a representative of traditionalism and the conservative revolution. He was also associated with neo-fascism, fascist mysticism, and individualism. Among his most notable works are "Revolt Against the Modern World," "The Hermetic Tradition: Symbols and Teachings of the Royal Art," "The Mystery of the Grail," "Eros and the Mysteries of Love," "Raâga Blanda," "Synthesis of the Doctrine of Race," "The Aryan Doctrine of Battle and Victory," and "Orientamenti." His activities spanned various fields including philosophy, literature, art, and political engagement. Evola left a significant mark on Italian and European intellectual history in the twentieth century.
