Józef Jan Gosławski was born on April 24, 1908, in the settlement of Polanówka, Poland. He became a renowned Polish sculptor, medallist, designer, and caricaturist. Throughout his creative career, Gosławski produced several monuments and works, including the monument to Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola, the monument to Adam Mickiewicz, and a piece titled "Never War." His artistic output reflects Polish cultural heritage and national traditions. Józef Gosławski passed away on January 23, 1963, in Warsaw. His works continue to hold an important place in 20th-century Polish art.
