Jorge Camacho
Jorge Camacho (1934–2011) was a Cuban-French painter and photographer associated with surrealism. Born in Havana, he represented Cuban culture and the early 20th-century artistic era. He died in Paris's 15th arrondissement.
Biography
Jorge Camacho was born on January 5, 1934, in Havana. He was a Cuban and French painter and graphic artist closely associated with the surrealist movement in art. In addition to painting, Camacho was also engaged in photography. Throughout his life, he represented Cuban culture and the artistic era of the first half of the twentieth century. He passed away on March 30, 2011, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. His work reflected surrealist influences and contributed to the development of contemporary art.
