Joan Mitchell was an American artist, born on February 12, 1925, in Chicago. Throughout her career, Mitchell combined professional activities as a painter, illustrator, and printmaker. Among her notable works is the painting "Bonjour Julie." The artist died on October 30, 1992, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.
