Beyond his musical career, Mládek is recognized as an artist, lyricist, writer, theatrical and film actor, television actor, comedic performer, as well as a television and film screenwriter. In music, he works within the genres of folk, country, and jazz. Ivan Mládek is also known for performing and composing the famous song Jožin z bažin.
