Irina Baldina (1922–2009) was a Russian Soviet painter known for her landscapes. A representative of realism and the Leningrad School of Painting, she was a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists and worked primarily within artistic organizations of the USSR and Russia.

Biography

Irina Mikhailovna Baldina was born on May 14, 1922, in Moscow. She was a Russian Soviet painter recognized as a representative of realism and a prominent figure of the Leningrad School of Painting. Baldina specialized in the landscape genre. Her professional career took place mainly within artistic organizations; she was a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists. Throughout her life, Baldina was connected to the cultural sphere of the USSR and Russia. She passed away on January 15, 2009, in Saint Petersburg.
