Irina Azizyan

Irina Atikovna Azizyan (1935–2009) was a Russian art historian, architect, and artist. She was a Doctor of Art History, professor, member of the Russian Artists' Union and Architects' Union, honorary architect of the Russian Federation, advisor to RAASN, and expert at the Kazimir Malevich Foundation.

Biography

Irina Atikovna Azizyan was born on April 9, 1935, in Moscow. She was a Russian art historian, architect, and painter. Azizyan earned a Doctorate in Art History and became a professor. She was a member of both the Russian Artists' Union and the Russian Architects' Union. Over the course of her professional career, she was awarded the title of Honorary Architect of the Russian Federation. Additionally, Irina Atikovna served as an advisor to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAASN) and was an expert with the Kazimir Malevich Foundation. She was also a member of the board of the Association of Art Historians. Azizyan passed away on June 22, 2009, in Moscow.
