Ilya Bogdesko
Ilya Trofimovich Bogdesko (1923–2010) was a Moldovan and Soviet artist, graphic artist, engraver, calligrapher, and educator. Born in Butuchany, he was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1963. His career spanned the USSR, Moldova, and Russia. He died in Saint Petersburg.
