I Gusti Nyoman Lempad was born in 1862 in the settlement of Bedulu. Of Indonesian origin, he pursued a multifaceted career as an artist, sculptor, and architect. Lempad is renowned for creating palaces and temples in the Ubud region and surrounding villages. His work played a significant role in the cultural heritage of the area, encompassing various artistic disciplines, including stone sculpture and architecture. On April 24, 1978, I Gusti Nyoman Lempad passed away in Ubud, leaving behind a rich cultural legacy of Balinese art.
