Hermína Týrlová was born on December 11, 1900, in Brzezové Hory, Austria-Hungary (now Czech Republic). She was a distinguished Czech director, screenwriter, film critic, and animation artist. Throughout her life, Hermína worked in various capacities within the film industry, including actress, film producer, and visual arts professional. Her contributions to the development of animation and cinematic art were recognized with the title of Merited Artist of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Hermína Týrlová passed away on May 3, 1993, in Zlín, Czech Republic.
