Hayley Lever
Hayley Lever (1876–1958) was an Australian-born American Impressionist painter, etcher, lecturer, and arts activist. Born in Adelaide and died in Mount Vernon, he is known for his landscapes and contributions to American and Australian art.

Hayley Lever was born on September 28, 1876, in Adelaide. Throughout his life, he distinguished himself as an American Impressionist painter of Australian origin. He specialized in landscape art and was also a skilled etcher. In addition to his artistic practice, Lever was a lecturer and an active figure in the arts, reflecting his engagement with the cultural life of his era. His creative work was connected with the Impressionist movement. Lever contributed to both American and Australian art. He passed away on December 6, 1958, in Mount Vernon.
